Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily Senior Software Engineer deliverables at Mphasis, focusing on backend service development and API integration as well as database management and query optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues and team leads in Hyderabad, Pakistan to plan, execute, and review project milestones.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and clear documentation across all workflows and internal processes.
• Identify practical ways to improve efficiency, solve operational bottlenecks, and deliver reliable outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
• Apply best practices in backend service development and API integration, database management and query optimization, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation to support long-term team goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated background with 5+ years of proven track record delivering high-impact results in a similar role relevant to Senior Software Engineer or software it.
• Practical proficiency in backend service development and API integration as well as database management and query optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent real-world professional experience.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a onsite setting.
